About Us
The ACTV Run For Resilience is an annual charity run dedicated to raising awareness and funds for mental health.
Founded in 2023, our Run For Resilience is back, bigger and better than ever! In 2025, we’re expanding to two locations:

We run to raise awareness for mental health and this year we are proud to support Movember, the leading charity changing the game for men’s health.

Why We Run
Get to Know The RFR Story
Paris Lightfoot founded ACTV Run For Resilience in 2023 in memory of her father, who she lost to suicide in December 2022. What started as a tribute has grown into a powerful community movement, with hundreds of people coming together to support mental health awareness and push their limits through physical activity.

2023: 150 runners raised $5.5k for mental health.

2024: 250 runners conquered the Gold Coast, raising $12k.
In 2025, we’re stepping it up — running in two cities, reaching more people, and raising even more funds to support mental health initiatives by Movember.

More Than Just another Run Event
The Run For Resilience is more than just another run. It symbolises pushing through when your mind tells you to stop — and doing it with a supportive community around you. Whether you’re tackling your first 5km or pushing for a PB, the goal is to challenge yourself and show just how strong you really are.

Our chosen distances are about growth — if your PB is 10km, why not push for 12km? You might surprise yourself. And remember, it's not a race - just a challenge. The whole community will be behind you cheering you on to finish.
